PRAYAAN 6.0 – 2025
PRAYAAN 6.0 is an annual cultural and sports festival of IMU Mumbai Port Campus (MPC). Held over two days, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from AEMA cadets across a spectrum of activities, from sports and athletic competitions to cultural performances and intellectual challenges.
The festival commenced with a grand opening ceremony, graced by senior faculty and distinguished guests, setting the tone for an inspiring and competitive series of events. Participants from various Mumbai colleges and MTIs demonstrated remarkable skills in various sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, and athletics, showcasing their physical endurance, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The cultural segment was equally enthralling, with mesmerizing dance performances, musical renditions, and drama presentations that reflected the artistic and creative talents of the participants.
One of the key highlights of PRAYAAN 6.0 was the intellectual competitions, where the participants engaged in debates, quizzes, and technical challenges, fostering critical thinking and maritime knowledge. The event also featured a leadership series, where industry veterans shared invaluable insights, motivating participants to strive for excellence in their maritime careers.
The festival concluded with a grand closing ceremony, recognizing the outstanding performances of participants and honoring the winners with trophies and accolades.
AEMA cadets won 4 gold medals, Winners in Talent hunt (Flute performance), Crossfit (female), Art competition and Musical Band performance.
The unwavering enthusiasm, discipline, and teamwork displayed throughout the festival reaffirmed AEMA’s commitment to holistic education and the development of well-rounded maritime professionals. PRAYAAN 6.0 not only celebrated talent but also strengthened the bond among cadets, reinforcing the values of leadership, perseverance, and unity that define the maritime spirit.
